Wool wax containing, water absorbing nail softening paste of the type W/O, 2-phase paste. Apply daily for 1-2 weeks; after 24 hours, remove ointment residues and scrape off the softened nail substance. Subsequently, apply thickly again to the diseased nail under an occlusive dressing. To avoid skin damage, the healthy nail wall and the area around the nail should be covered with zinc paste.
