Tinea pedis interdigital type B35.30

Fungal disease ( tinea) of the feet. Most frequent mycosis of the feet with an incidence of 20% up to 80% (miners, soldiers, sportsmen) depending on the collective.

The most common fungal disease of all, which if left untreated becomes the starting point for a further spreading mycotic infection of the foot (ball of the toe, hollow foot, heels) and especially of the toenails. The skin of the interdigital spaces (especially of the 4 ZZR) is whitish swollen, appears as if boiled, can be painlessly removed or peeled out, so that interdigital, erosive wetlands develop. This results in painful rhagades and the danger of local bacterial overlay (see below gram-negative foot infection) or streptogenic complications (see below erysipelas). The progression on the soles and/or back of the foot leads to the development of circinar, marginal, itchy inflammation zones.
