Taeniasis. egg of Taenia spp. (T. solium and saginata - eggs are not distinguishable). an egg capsule is rarely present, eggs are light yellow-brown and about 35-40 µm in diameter (embryophores only). the embryophores (stale egg) are thick and radiately striped.
