epithelioma of the sebaceous glands: well defined, solid, basaloid tumor node in the upper and middle dermis with porous opening to the surface. no division into sebaceous gland lobules. undifferentiated basaloid sebocytes predominate (see detailed picture). mature sebaceous glands appear on the right and left side of the tumor formation.
Sebaceousepithelioma ( Sebazeoma): different sized, well defined basaloid cell clusters with numerous injected sebaceous gland cells; no differentiation into sebaceous gland lobules; normally structured sebaceous glands on the right and left side of the tumor parenchyma.
Sebaceous epithelioma: close-up with densely packed, basaloid cell formations; distinct proliferation activity with numerous MIB-positive elements
Sebaceous epithelioma ( close-up): in addition to basaloid cells with abundant mitoses, there are solitary as well as grouped, mature sebaceous gland cells.
Sebaceous epithelioma ( detail enlargement): Only in the peripheral areas of the tumor formation recognizable differentiation of the basaloid sebocytes into sebaceous gland cells; low number of mitoses
