retronychia: psoriatic onychodystrophy, with extensive destruction of the nail plate. no nail growth for a long time. chronic moderately painful paronychia. at the upper edge of the already destroyed nail an obviously undirected re-growing "nail torso". therapy: extraction of the old and new nail plate.
Retronychia: Pagoda-like nail growing forward and upwards. In the meantime the nail growth is completely arrested. Chronic, painful paronychia due to newly growing nail underneath.
