Pilomatrixoma (Epithelioma calcificans): Reddish-brown, calotte-shaped node that is displaceable in relation to the underlying tissue, slightly painful, slowly progressive.
Pilomatrixoma: Reddish-brown, calotte-shaped, painful lump, which is movable in relation to the underlying surface and has been slowly progressive for 2 years.
Pilomatrixoma: Incident light microscopy: bluish-opaque and yellowish-white plaques (calcification foci) with individual ectatic vessels interspersed (inflammatory reaction).
Pilomatrixoma: Well-defined cystic tumor in the corium with a broad basaloid epithelial layer; central eosinophilic horn material.
