Perniones: distinct acrocyanosis of the hands. painful acral inflammation especially in the transitional season. now declining again.
Pernio. red spots and smooth red plaques which are not very conspicuous in the symptom-free interval and which change into blue-reddish, possibly blue or reddish-brown (purple component), doughy, plate-like or nodular skin lesions on exposure to cold. reversible itching or burning on warming, which subsides on cooling.
