nodules, rheumatic. at the border of dermis and subcutis there is a larger and a smaller palisade granuloma of histiocytes, lymphocytes and multinucleated giant cells. in the centre of the granuloma eosinophilic, fibrinoid collagen necroses with nuclear residues are visible.
Nodules, rheumatic. peripheral area of the granuloma with fibrinoid swollen connective tissue and a largely epithelioid-cell infiltrate; numerous multinucleated giant cells.
