Solution for use in PUVA bath treatment by the doctor. 0.5% Methoxsalen solution for external use. Let 150 litres of 50 °C hot bath water run in, pipette off 15 ml of the 0.5% Methoxsalen solution and dissolve (Methoxsalen concentration of 0.5 mg/l bath water). Bathe at 37 °C water temperature for 20 minutes (head and hands are not bathed). After the bath, dab off skin and perform immediate UVA irradiation.
