Special form of split skin graft for covering particularly large surface defects. Mesh graft grafts are obtained by artificially slitting split skin grafts evenly. In this process a mesh-like grid is created. Templates with different grids are available. The meshed grafts can be expanded to different sizes (1:1; 1:3; 1:6). Fixation on the area to be covered, if necessary with fibrin glue, suture or stapler.
