Mallinckrodt-haupt, asta from

(¤ 1896, † 1960) dermatologist. The dermatologist Auguste Stephanie von Haupt, born on 27.11.1896 in Bamberg, studied medicine in Berlin from 1915. 1921 state examination. First dermatological training at the Charité in Berlin under Franz Blumenthal. She stayed there until 1.6.1924. Later she moved to Daun/Eifel. Voluntary service with Erich Hoffmann/Bonn. 1930 Residency with Theo Schreuss/Düsseldorf. 1932 Habilitation with the topic: "Metabolism of pathogenic skin fungi and its connection with the pathogen of mycoses". 1941 Appointment as full professor. Asta Mallinckrodt-Haupt was thus the first full professor of dermatology in Germany.
