Infectallergic mono-, oligo- or polyarthritis in Lyme borreliosis or manifestation of Lyme borreliosis with intermittent course and predominantly affecting the knee and ankle joints. Often the arthritis lasts only a few days, but can persist for months. Usually only minor radiological changes. The actual arthritis is often preceded for weeks by unspecific migratory muscle, bone, tendon and joint pain (musculo-skeletal syndrome). Myositides are rare. Consequences of Lyme borreliosis can be fibromyalgia.
