Lentigo simplex. reflected light microscopy (female, 51 years; middle of back): Regular, highly pigmented and double-contoured reticulum; in the centre of the lesion dark brown transepidermal pigmentation is exuded into the stratum corneum; nevus cell nests in the form of plaques or globules are not present.
