(¤ 1906, † 1970) Dermatologist, working in Prague, Erlangen, Ankara Born in Obereinsiedel in the Sudetenland, he began his medical studies in 1926 at the "Medical Faculty of the German University" in Prague. First dermatological training at the University Dermatological Clinic Prague under Karl Kreibich. In 1932 doctorate. 1937 scientific assistant in Prague. 1940 habilitation. After the end of the war, initially working at the University Dermatological Clinic Erlangen under Leo Hauck. After his death in 1945, he was appointed provisional director of the clinic. 1948 full professorship. 1952 appointment to the dermatological chair at the University of Ankara. 1958 Return to the Federal Republic of Germany. Opening of a dermatological practice in Nördlingen. His scientific focus was in the field of chemotherapy, mycology and serology.
