ichthyosis acquisita (pseudoichthyoses). typical "age dermatosis" of the lower legs due to excessive skin cleansing and the resulting drying of the skin in a 72-year-old. the normal skin field is cancelled by this "craquelée pattern". the skin is dry and scaly. permanent, unpleasant itching.
