Goä no.200

Definition "No. 200 GOÄ", bandage - except for fast and spray bandages" ( 45 points, 2.3 times 6.03 €). Furthermore:No calculability of the No. 200 GOÄ is given in connection with a surgical performance (also etching, removal of foreign bodies), puncture, infusion, transfusion or injection. Dressings according to No. 200 GOÄ are independently calculable services in the GOÄ, unless the exclusions of the general provision apply or it is a "quick bandage". No. 200 GOÄ can be charged in addition to other bandages at the same location in case of different therapeutic objectives. No. 200 GOÄ can be charged for each individual dressing. If necessary, the factor should be adjusted. No. 200 GOÄ can be charged for material costs according to § 10 GOÄ. The exclusion in the performance legend "quick bandage" means prepared plasters etc., not e.g. a wound cover with compress and tubular bandage.

Keratolytic plasters: Keratolytic plasters are not considered to be "quick dressings". Other patches containing transdermal substances should not be considered "quick fix" patches. An anaesthetic pre-treatment with a lidocaine ointment bandage would not fall under No. 200 GOÄ, but would have to be accounted for analogously with No. 485 GOÄ.

Applications: In the general provision, "not in connection with" means the temporal and local reference to one of the mentioned services. In the treatment of a secondary healing wound according to no. 2006 GOÄ, no. 200 is chargeable. Also in a later session e.g. post-operatively. In the case of wound care, only Nos. 2000 to 2005 GOÄ count towards the benefits triggering exclusion. Not excluded is the calculation of the No. 200 GOÄ in addition to other dressings also in the same target area, if the dressings have different objectives. For example, a covering bandage according to No. 200 GOÄ can also be calculated alongside a compression bandage according to No. 204 GOÄ in the same target area. No. 200 GOÄ can be calculated for each bandage applied at a different location. However, if there are many bandages applied in one session, the "adequacy of the fee" required by the BO (professional code of conduct) should be observed. It would not be appropriate if the fee for the bandages were to exceed "that of a medium surgical procedure".

Factor of increase : When a large and/or difficult dressing is applied, the fee may be increased by 200 GOÄ. No. 200 GOÄ does not distinguish according to the size of the dressing. For a large dressing, a higher increase factor (up to 3.5 times) is appropriate.

Reimbursement of material costs: The costs for a dressing according to No. 200 GOÄ are not usually covered by the term "small material". With regard to their amount, one can orientate oneself on the "special costs" in the UV-GOÄ. There 1.28 Euro are listed for No. 200. In the invoice, however, the material should not be referred to as "display according to BG-GOÄ" or only as "display", but GOÄ-systematically as "dressing material" .
