Fuhs, herbert

(¤ 1891, † 1960) Dermatologist. Studied in Vienna, 1916 doctorate, 1918-1919 dermatological assistant at the Vienna Skin Clinic under Gustav Riehl, 1926 habilitation, 1933 appointment as extraordinary professor, 1934-1936 head of the outpatient clinic for skin and venereal diseases at the Empress Elisabeth Hospital in Vienna. 1935 appointed full professor, 1936-1938 head of the University Dermatology Clinic in Graz. 1938 successor to Wilhelm Kerl at the University Dermatology Clinic in Vienna, since 1940 member of the NSDAP, the NS-Altherrenbund, the NS-Dozentenbund, member of the SS. 1946 suspension from university service.
