Friedereich hugo constantin

Born on 1.6.1992 in Schöntal an der Jagst, he completed his medical studies at the universities of Berlin, Frankfurt, Königsberg and Tübingen. Doctorate 1945 in Berlin. Began dermatological training in Wroclaw with H.A. Gottron, which he followed to Tübingen after World War II. There he initially worked as a visiting doctor and in 1949 he was recognised as a specialist. 1956 habilitation and 1962 appointment as full professor. From 1967 H. C. Friederich was appointed provisional director of the clinic. He filled this position for one year. In 1970 H.C. Friederich was elected Director of the University Dermatology Clinic after the brief interim management of the Marburg Clinic by Marchionini student Carl-Georg Schirren. He headed the clinic as Managing Director until 1991. H.C. Friederich died on 24.9.2011. Friederich is considered a pioneer in operative dermatology.
