Dubreuilh, william auguste

(¤ 1857, † 1935) The French dermatologist born on 9.5.1857 in Bordeaux studied medicine in Bordeaux since 1878 and spent his boarding school years in Paris since 1884. During this time first contacts with dermatology through Alfred Jean Fournier at the Hôpital St Louis/Paris. 1888 return to Bordeaux. 1892 Departmental physician for the department of dermatosyphiligraphy. 1905 Appointment as professor. 1909 Appointment as full professor of the newly founded dermatological chair at the medical faculty in Bordeaux. His scientific achievements relate to syphilis, photodermatology and precanceroses of the skin.
