Cheilitis actinica chronica: uniform, laminar leukoplakia of the upper and lower lip with a tendency to rhagade formation; keratotic deposits in the area of the lower lip occur more and more often.
Cheilitis actinica chronica: extensive veil-like leukoplakia of the red of the lip; on the left third of the lower lip development of a squamous cell carcinoma.
Differential diagnosis "Cheilitis actinica chronica" : in this case a lichen planus mucosae; especially on the left side the typical reticular (fine-meshed) whitish plaques are recognizable in the area of the red of the lips.
