Cd31

Acronym for Cluster of differentiation 31st CD31 is a marker for: Stem cells of the myeloid series, platelets, endothelia, natural killer cells, neutrophil granulocytes, plasma cells, histiocytes. CD31 antibodies are considered the most important markers for malignant endothelial tumors.

Structure: membrane glycoprotein (130 kDa); Clone: JC/70A

Note: CD31 is involved in the migration of leukocytes through the endothelium. CD31 is also involved in the activation and aggregation of platelets. In addition, CD31 is considered an important marker for malignant endothelial tumors.
