Systematic classification of dermatology according to the guidelines of Willan and later of L. Th. Biett. 1828 Author of the most important dermatological standard work of his time: "Abrégé pratique des maladies de la peau d'après les auteurs les plus estimés, et surtout d'après les documents uisés dans les Leçons cliniques de M. Biett". 1844 First description of the pemphigus foliaceus. 1850 First mention and description of lupus erythematosus. First description of Alopecia areata, which was then called Cazenave's Vitiligo.
