Definition
This section has been translated automatically.

Very rare (5 cases have been described in the literature so far) histological variant of a lipoma with myxoid and angiomatous component. The cases described so far have not shown any evidence of malignancy (no recurrence with sufficient excision).

Manifestation
This section has been translated automatically.

So far 5 cases have been described (4 men and 1 woman; age 32-66 years).

Localization
This section has been translated automatically.

So far, predilection sites have not been clearly defined. In 5 evaluated patients 3 lipomas appeared in the subcutaneous fatty tissue (3 lipomas on the head, 1 lipoma on the leg, 1 lipoma on the spermatic cord).

Histology
This section has been translated automatically.

Very characteristic picture with mucinous tissue and mature adipocytes, interspersed with numerous thin vessels. CD34 expression in the mucinous areas. The spindle cells, which are more frequently found in the tumors, are probably to be interpreted as immature mesenchymal cells of primitive fat lobules.
