Silica dimethyl silylate (inci)

Silica dimethyl silylate is a reaction product of a dimethylated and dichlorinated silane with silica, the silica. The silica mixture is used in cosmetic formulations. It acts as an anti-foaming agent (suppresses the formation of foam during the production of cosmetic products), emollient (makes the skin smooth and supple), viscosity regulator (increases or decreases the viscosity of cosmetic products), anti-caking agent and as an emulsion stabilizer (supports the formation of emulsions and improves the resistance and durability of emulsions).
