"PVP" is the acronym for polyvinylpyrrolidone, a plastic produced from vinylpyrrolidone building blocks, "dimethicone acrylate" is an organic chemical polymeric compound of dimethicone and polyurethane.

PVP/dimethylaminomethacrylate/polycarbamyl polyglycol ester is a mixture of substances used in cosmetic formulations. The mixture acts as a binding agent (ensures the desired cohesion of powdery, powdery or creamy products, prevents the separation of solids and liquid components), hair conditioning agent (makes the hair easy to comb, smooth, soft and shiny and gives it volume), antistatic agent (reduces static charges by neutralizing the electrical charge on the surface, e.g. of hair) and as a film former (forms a film on skin, hair or nails when applied).
