Pvp decene copolymer (inci)

"PVP" is the acronym for polyvinylpyrrolidone, a plastic produced from vinylpyrrolidone building blocks, "decene" an organic chemical compound with 10 C atoms from the group of unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbons, "copolymer" a polymer usually consisting of 2 monomers. PVP decene copolymer is a mixture of substances used in cosmetic formulations. The mixture acts as a binder (ensures the desired cohesion of powdery, powdery or creamy products, prevents solids and liquid components from separating) and as a film former (forms a film on skin, hair or nails when applied).
