Potassium undecylenoyl hydrolyzed soy protein (inci)

"Potassium...' means the element potassium, 'undecylenoyl' means undecylenic acid, an unsaturated fatty acid, 'hydrolyzed soy protein' means hydrolysed proteins based on soya or soya oil.

Potassium undecylenoyl hydrolyzed soy protein is used in cosmetic formulations. The mixture of substances acts as an emulsion stabilizer (supports the formation of emulsions and improves the resistance and shelf life of emulsions), combability aid (reduces or prevents tangling of the hair due to changes or damage on the hair surface and thus improves combability) and as a skin care product.
