Poloxamine 1504 (inci)

poloxamines' means a subgroup of poloxamers (see below poloxamers) Poloxamines, like poloxamers, are block polymers structurally composed of an ethylenediamine core whose amino groups are substituted with copolymers of polyoxyethylene and polyoxypropylene blocks1n of variable length. These are non-ionic surfactants.

Poloxamine 1504 is used in cosmetic formulations. Poloxamine 1504 acts as an emulsifier (surface-active substance used in cosmetic formulations as an additive to combine two immiscible liquids - e.g. oil and water - to form an emulsion).
