Polianthes tuberosa extract (inci)

Polianthes tuberosa extract is the pleasantly sweet-flowery-scented extract obtained by solvent extraction from the fresh flowers of Polianthes tuberosa, the night hyacinth, also known as tuberose (Garden primose), a plant from the agave family native to Central Asia, Southern France and North Africa.

Methyl benzoate, methylantranilate, benzy alcohol, eugenol, farnesol, geraniol.

The extract is used in cosmetic formulations. It has a film-forming effect (forms a film on skin, hair or nails), skin-caring (keeps the skin in good condition), skin-protecting (protects the skin from external influences), masking (reduces or inhibits an undesirable inherent odour of the product) and viscosity regulating (increases or decreases the viscosity of cosmetic products).
