Palm kernelamide dea (inci)

Palm kernelamide DEA is the reaction product of carboxylic acid from palm kernel oil with diethanolamine, a colourless aminal alcohol. The substance mixture acts as an emulsifier (surface-active substance which is used in cosmetic products as an additive to prevent two immiscible liquids - e.g. (e.g. oil and water), emulsion stabilizer (supports the formation of emulsions and improves the stability and shelf life of emulsions), surfactant (washing-active substance/improves the even distribution of the products during application), viscosity regulator (increases or decreases the viscosity of cosmetic products) and as foaming agent (increases foam formation and improves volume, structure and stability of the foam).
