Jasminum offcinale oil (inci)

Jasminum offcinale oil means the essential oil obtained by steam distillation from the flowers of Jasminum grandiflorum L. and Jasminum officinale L.

Benzylacetate, linalyl lactate, benzyl benzoate, linalyl acetate, jasmone, geraniol, nerol, eugenol, farnesol, p-cresol.

Jasminum officinalis oil is used in cosmetic formulations. The oil has a skin-caring, hydrating, moisturising (increases the water content of the skin, moisturises) and anti-inflammatory effect. The oil is also used in cosmetics as a fragrance (reduces or inhibits the basic smell or taste of a product).

Oleum jasmini can be found in various qualities in the trade.
