Hydrolyzed quinoa is a hydrolysate obtained by enzymatic hydrolysis, acid hydrolysis or other hydrolysis processes from the seed of the quinoa plant (Chenopodium quinoa), a plant species belonging to the genus goosefoot in the foxtail family (Amaranthaceae). The protein hydrolysate is used in cosmetic formulations. It acts as a skin care product.
