Ole e 1-type protein family is a group of allergens that react to the major allergen for olive pollen allergy sufferers, Ole e 1. Ole e 1 has a significant sequence analogy with all other members of the Ole e 1-like protein family. This family includes ash (Fra e 1 ), privet (Lig v 1) and lilac (Syr v 1). Furthermore, the allergen from the ribwort plantain Pla l 1 and other taxonomically unrelated species: Lol p 11(ryegrass), Phl p 11(timothy), Che a 1 (goosefoot).
