Group of proteins in royal jelly of the Hinig bee. The "Major Royal Jelly Proteins (MRJPs)" make up to 90% of the total protein content of royal jelly. Only queen larvae receive only royal jelly. This is a secretion of the feed juice glands of young workers who raise the bee larvae. Major royal jelly proteins significantly influence the biological mechanisms of box differentiation in the honey bee Apis mellifera.

MRJP 8 and MRJP 9 are identified as Api m 11.0101 and Api m 11.0201 as important bee venom allergens.
