Allergic contact dermatitis to various components of the adhesive plaster, in particular dammara resin, synthetic rubber Buna, turpentine oils and colophony.

Avoid the agent by using non-self-adhesive dressings. Short-term local therapy with glucocorticoid ointment e.g. 0.5% hydrocortisone lotio (e.g. Hydrogalen Lotion, R123 ) or, if necessary, the more effective 0.1% triamcinolone cream (e.g. Triamgalen, R259 ).
